We don't use this for cooking or in a steam table at all, but more for storage. It's your standard hotel pan. Lightweight and good quality for the price. Every restaurant needs these.
Bought several of them since we smoke pulled pork bites and briskets. One brisket fits in one and we can fit 2 pulled pork a in one.
Item works perfectly! Used it to catch the strained boiled tomatos from the 4" steam pan. Quality is top notch. Not too heavy at all.

Nice sturdy pans. More of a "brushed steel" finish means they're not too industrial-looking. They don't nest that well with more traditional hotel pans, though.
We really love the depth of these hotel pans. We use them to store our larger batches of marinara sauce. They do not stain and they have not dented or had any damage the whole 2+ years we’ve had them.

Great product and sturdy. Fits all the lids that we have and we have a mix of brands so that is a huge plus! Nothing worse than having mis-matches and nothing fits. Cleans easy and doesn't warp in the dish machine like some brands do. I will keep buying these as i need them.
I bought two of these full size trays. They arrived in excellent condition. I do wish though that they were slightly deeper, but they are ok.

While these seem high quality, they don't seem to fit exactly the same as other full size hotel pans. They are just the slightest bit smaller. They did not fit in our chaffing dishes.
These work perfect with the ServIt 3 pan steam table. They are better than other pans that don't have the full lip on the corners so you don't have food spilling over the exposed corners.

Over the years we've gone through more than our fair share of full sized aluminum foil sheet pans. In an effort to reduce our waste and overhead we decided to give the stainless steel jam pans a try in place of their aluminum counterparts. Nice sturdy pans. Well worth the money
I use these pans in conjunction with full size pan covers in a hydroponic system I set up right outside my kitchen. The pan is used to hold water and nutrient. See my images for the set-up. I personally do not like using plastic containers, these stainless pans are perfect for my application. They are deep enough so the plant roots have room to grow while having ample access to air, water, and nutrient.

I dont know why people buy the more expensive comparable products. These economy pans are plenty sturdy and look every bit as nice as those costing 30-40% more. Will be adding more to our collection as needed.

You really can't have too many of these. They clean up well, and are easy to pull apart when stacked together. Make sure to get lids that go with them.

Purchased these pans to use at the water basin for my cheesecake, and i'm glad I did. These are the perfect depth because they hold the perfect amount of water to cover a little over half of my 2-3 inch cheesecake pans.
I am glad these pans do not stick together. I have had problems getting other brands apart and so far have not had that problem with these. Nice to get in different sizes for your chef base or steam table.

This stainless steel pan has handled tons of wear and tear daily in our restaurant. Easy to clean, hasn't dented at all, and is very affordable. You can even you use it under your heat lamp to keep food warm as well.
Bought this to use as an ice bath to cool ice cream down quickly. Works great for that purpose. Im sure you can use this to cook meats and all sorts of other things. Would recommend.

These pans are really nice for the occasional caterer like us. We were looking for something functional and economical that would hold a lot of food. For us, each pan holds about 100 5-oz servings of side dishes and about 80 servings of main dishes (5-oz Chicken breasts, etc.). A must-have and works great with the cambro carriers for catering.
The full size 4" deep steam pan is my go to for water baths for my larger cheesecakes. They are the perfect size for the 8" or 10" without the whole pan being too heavy when the hot water is added.

These pans are great for big roasts like pork shoulder. There is a lot of room for roasted meats and veggies. They wash well and are lightweight.

Bought these to go with the (4) Avantco W50 12" x 20" Electric Countertop Food Warmers. It has held up to regular busy kitchen abuse. It's just the right depth for the warmers. Investing little by little until I have enough of these. I also bought the pan liners to go with them to help me make clean-up go smoother.
Bought this for a roaster, I got tired of expensive non stick junk that flaked off on my food! Stainless works great, everything I put in it comes out nice with no funny bits stuck to it and the cleanup is easy!
When looking for stainless steel hotel pans of different sizes, we look for anti-jam ones so that they stack without getting stuck together - those hurt to get apart! These aren't too thick, so they do burn if you put it straight over a fire for extended periods (like on a stove top). But they work great in a steam table.
Similar to the 4 inch deep pans, these are a little thin, and the edges can be a little sharp. However, they work well, and they are a good value. Just handle with care.
Purchased to use as regular baking pan. These are great to have in the warmer to stored already cooked food. The price is amazing for the quality. Will purchase again.

These are nicer than I had expected them to be. I used them in a dry form (not a steam table) as a way to display and serve pastries at a market. I use the hinged cover along with it and it looks very professional. It's sturdy and all of my steam table pans stack up nicely within each other to take up hardly any space in storage.

I made curry chicken in my pan the first time using it and I was totally pleased! The chicken cooked evenly and the clean up was a breeze with no curry stains! I forgot to take a picture but I will the next time I use them. So worth the money I bought 6!!

This 2 1/2" steam table pan works wonderfully. It is a little shallow for how I typically dye my yarn which is why I own mostly 4" deep pans. I would imagine this pan would be perfect for a multitude of cooking applications though. It sits nicely in the other deeper pans that I own.
dont know why but its changing colors. maybe its the heat or the food we put in it but we still use them but we make sure to put napkins or towels down

Thicker than aluminum tray but scratches and stains easily with soft fingernails. Must handle tray carefully. Will easily wear and tear. Doesn't look seem high quality stainless steal and has a dull shine. Pan is lightweight, functional and sturdy. I wish steam pans were available in 3 inch depths.

I purchased the steam pan along with a hinged pastry cover to use at the Farmer's Market. It is very versatile, easy to clean and professional looking. I like the fact that it is deep enough to hold my pastries and allows me to place a couple of cooling racks in to make double layer storage. I plan to purchase several more of these in the near future.

I have this placed on my display warmer. It fits precisely how it should. It's an older model warmer so covering the bottom heating element with three of these pans worked well. I don't use it for much else but I'm sure it could be used for baking and whatnot. Same material as the hotel pans.

This is a sturdy yet not heavy pan. Heat transfer is fast and even allowing quick even heating and holding of my hot foods. I use them for all sorts of dishes from baked chicken to macaroni and cheese. Pan goes from oven straight to my hot holding table.

I have bought several of these. These work well in my business. They can remain on the side of the griddle keeping food warn and are easy to clean.
Good light weight design and very sturdy. It is very easy to clean and any oil just washes away. 2.5 Inch is the perfect height for fried shrimp and fish fillets. It is not too deep where customers cannot see what is it in and you do not have to dig into the pan to scope out the food.
After years of using (and reusing) aluminium foil pans, I finally bought these sturdy steam table pans. They do a great job. I was worried that they might get too hot to handle, but they were fine after an hour of baking at 400F. Easy to wash. Not very heavy. Stack well. Gladly recommended them to friends.
Very happy with these pans!!!! The Anti-Jam design is great. I'm able to stack these in totes for storage and they come apart very easily unlike other pans that I've used. Highly recommend these pans. They're my go-to pan for all my catering needs.
The pan fits perfectly into my older steam table. I was hesitant to order sight un seen. Glad I made the decision and ordered anyway, pan is quite deep.
Full Size Standard anit-jam hotel pans are just as wonderful as expected. They are light weight but still strong enough to hold hot and cold products. They are sometimes filled with ice and used to keep sides of coleslaw and p/c of salad dressings at a safe temperature in our hot kitchen.

Great full size steam pan. I use it with my mobile food business when Im cooking large quantities of one item. They are great for steaming or boiling large batches of hot dogs. I can fit around 90 1/4lb hot dogs in one of these.. I would recommend this to someone.

The "Choice Full Size Standard Weight Anti-Jam Stainless Steel Steam Table / Hotel Pan - 6" Deep" is great. Unlike other similar products the edges on these seem not to ned as easy giving it a tight seal and not allowing steam to escape from the steam table.

Choice brand stainless steel pans are a lighter gauge metal but do the trick. They are more of a matte finish and not that shiny stainless.
These are worth the price to have on hand with your chafing/steam table set- while one is in the chafer, use one of these to keep the next batch warm and switch them out and spend more time with your guests! Our kitchen helpers for my son's wedding were happy they weren't going to have to hold hot pans over the chafers and refill every item-they just removed the existing pan, popped the new batch in, and no disruption in festivities!
This is a must for any kitchen. Everyone needs a set, especially if you have chafers. There are very easy to clean and last a long time. I use them not only for cooked food, but for prep as well.
As with the 2 1/2" pand. These pans have changed the way we pan our steam table. We had used hotel pans before. But we switched to the disposable pans because they didn't hold up to daily use. Disposable pans are nice but they bring up cost. A year later these pans have changed the way we do things

Bought this to compliment the Perforated 4" hotel jam. It has enough space in the bottom to drain, and fits well. It's rather large, so it takes a bit of space.
These steam table pans are durable and essential for any food service kitchen. Our only warning is that the edges are very sharp and can cut your fingers...so be careful!

These seem to stick together way more than we thought they would....we have to put something in between them to store ( cloth, cardboard, etc) Same with the 2.5" deep ones.

These hotel pans are durable and have served me well for braising, roasting, and reheating at a variety of temperatures. The steel is thinner than some other brands, yet this does not seem to effect the overall performance of the product.
The is a great pan... we purchased these for use with the Avancto W50, and they work beautifully. They are easy to clean, are of decent weight, and the top edges are smoothed enough that they do not cause cuts when handling the pans. I recommend this pan without hesitation.

These are a nice, lightweight hotel pan that is good for the tasks we used to use disposable pans for. We keep water in these pans and use them in our smokers to keep a more humid environment. Heavier pans do not allow the same amount of water vapor to be released as these lighter gauge pans.

The keep my food separate from other items, the stainless steel cleans well, and in the refrigerator, the stainless steel help with uniform temperatures, maintaining a cool even temperature. We ordered couple different sized of Choice steam table pans for Web. This is perfect size for cooking our lunch specials. Very solid and constructed.
My baking and pastry class use this a lot especially during the chocolate chip cookie production and it made everyone’s life easier. It’s easy to clean, which is a plus. It can still jam, but these are definitely easier to un-jam than cheaper pans. I recommend it because it’s helpful.

These pans are a good value from Webstaurant. There are more expensive, name-brand pans that you can buy and they may be heavier gauge steel and be more durable (ie last longer, not dent or bend as easy when dropped on floor), but for our operation, these work just fine. They stack, don't stick, and are sized properly.

Fast delivery, nice looking but anti-jam, certainly not! Two of the 4 inch deep pans arrived jammed on one end. Took a while to get them apart and had to make some mars on them to separate. will try using them with other pans I have to see if they will not jam with them. The third pan arrived in a plastic bag so was not jammed. Paid more for the anti-jam feature but doesn't work that way.
These are a standard quality substitute for a heavy gauge Vollrath steam table pan. They are slightly thinner than the Vollrath pans, but if you are looking to save some money, look no further. These are a great replacement.

Going for the anti jam is a must. Anyone who gets a hotel pan wet and puts another hotel pan in it is dooming themselves to an hour of trying to tear those beasts apart.

there are times when the two inch pans that come with your chaffers just aren't deep enough for what you want to serve and if the food is acidic you don't want to use aluminum these fit the bill perfectly.

I use the heck out of these pans in my chef base with lots of rotation. They are 24 gauge so they are thin/flimsy for being steel. You could get thicker but then they would get heavy. I have 4 of these pans and when I need more I will purchase these again.

I love these pans. They are a great value and are very sturdy. I have used them over and over to dye yarns and rovings as well as cook. I have 3 for yarns and rovings and 1 for food. You can'y go wrong with these.
Perfect size, and good thickness this pan is obviously a pretty basic unit, but the price was really great, and it shipped to me much sooner than expected. Much cheaper than my local restaurant supply store, I will for sure buy all of my pans from here going forward. Fits well in my Cator Gator I bought here as well, though with the lid on it, it wont let the door close fully. Pretty straight forward, but yeah, I would recommend.

This is a Pretty deep one so I use this to water-bath flan and pudding, etc. If working with hard water, you might find that it gets watermark over time but that does not affect the performance of it.

The edges are very sharp I cut myself getting them from the box , no way I will let me team use them , sorry I had to say it . On equipment we have to expend more to avoid trouble.

These pans are just like the 4'' pans. Same design that allows for easy setting and removal from the steam table. The depth is perfect for more liquid items as well as it helps prevent spillage. It's thick steel and won't warp.

Love theses pans, they work very well when o have to feed a crowd either at church or even at home. Perfect for roasting large chickens.

Fits metal chafer perfectly and paired up nicely with the roll top chafer cover I also purchased. A corner of one of the pans was a little dinged up so put that on the back side of table. Used 1/2 pans in one of them and a full pan in the other with smaller loaf pans to sample more products. Would recommend and will buy again.
the pans are nice. i Use them with my chafing racks and with the anti jam rim, it allows my to put two 4" pans on top of each other to use together and still have room for water to steam.
These pans are deep and are able to hold enough food to feed a large size crowd. There is no need to keep refilling them. They are strong and durable and i have no dents in them from the heat of the oven or from falling. You can also use them to freeze your food.
VERY STURDY PAN! We use these to bake and also in our chafing dishes. They hold up extremely well to both extreme heat and extreme cold. Easy to clean.
These are nice, solid hotel pans. The half size is really convenient too especially for my smaller food cart space. They are definitely strong and sturdy without being too heavy.
This is a good item. They hold up pretty well and the price is good. We don't give them heavy workout so I do t know how they would be in a heavy use situation

I catered a event and finally got a chance to use this Choice Full 2 1/2 Deep Size steam table pan to serve jello on my cold table. The pan fit my cold table perfect with a tight seal. I highly recommend this product.

I've wanted larger pans to work with for a long time. I was thrilled to get these pans because they are the perfect size for my large family, and they are easy to clean. I've never liked non-stick pans. It is nice to work only with a metal one because I don't have to worry about getting debree in my food.

We are a party rental company and this is not our cup of "tea" you can say. Wow, this pricing was awesome for us. We took the plunge and ordered quite a few for a client to rent. I was a little hesitant because the price is so cheap, but there great. Now, for storage; we place them in pan trash bags (not sure if thats the right name). Placing them in the bags stops them from sticking together when stacked. Being a rental company we do this because they are not used everyday. I will post picture and video for this.
These stainless steel pans are great! They are both dishwasher and freezer safe. Super easy to clean and stack when drying. Great price as well
I love these hotel pans, and they work well for my catering business- However, they cannot be stacked as they will stick together and its almost impossible to separate them.

quite a light weight pan, but it does what it is intended for. doesn't jam with other pans we have in stock, even though they are from different manufacturers

We use these pans for tons of items, but mostly for overnight braising. We can fit two pork shoulders, which get cooked overnight low and slow. They hold up well, clean easy and are great utility kitchen hotel pans.
