This hot dog steamer comes with a large 6 qt. water pan for the easiest maintenance possible. Simply fill the pan at the start of the day, set the temperature and humidity, and the high capacity water pan will hold the water you need to effectively steam until closing time with no need to worry about the pan running dry! A stainless steel housing gives the steamer a sleek, durable construction while the tempered glass front and back tempt customers with excellent product visibility. And thanks to the unit's convenient top-loading design, you have easy access to product without sacrificing workspace to traditional rear swing doors.

We have been selling steamed hot dogs since the 1970's using Star steamers. 2 years ago we switched over to Avantco steamers. We own 4 of them. This steamer is much more affordable and the replacement parts are very reasonably priced. As long as you follow the instruction and have some knowledge of how a hot dog steamer works this one will work just fine. If you run it on high (175) all day you will burn out the electronics and element. After it heats up just turn it down to 150 and you'll be fine. Putting 100 hot dogs in at a time I would not recommend. The middle ones take for ever to heat up. We use 50 at a time. If your drain plug leaks than you most likely put it on too tight.
This hot dog steamer is an A++++ It works amazing and your hot dogs are going to taste great! And you can put a huge amount in at once which is nice

I bought this as part of my children's party business. I used it at the office holiday party it was such a huge hit people wanted to rent it. It held the max amount of Nathan's hotdogs cooked evenly. Don't put your bread in too early but I love my investment. Cost reasonable too.

Worked really good for the hot dogs and sausage, but the buns came out super soggy. Had to wrap them in foil to keep the softness and dryness.
This machine heats up great and works the way I want it too! I would recommend this product for concession stands use! You can also use it for birthday parties instead of grilling hotdogs!

This thing is great. Holds plenty of hot dogs and keeps them hot. Buns stay just right. I think the lids could have a little better of a design to stay on. They do seem to fall in easy even with the support bar.
This baby does the job. Keeps the dogs hot and the buns warm. The bottom buns will always get hard after awhile, so sacrifice a couple to the hot dog gods.
Above expectations, I use this as a part of my small party catering business. Usually for kids parties and this steamer worked like a charm, very easy setup and clean up which is very important to me. And more importantly it kept the hot dogs and buns nice and warm so I did not have to constantly be making more and more to be served hot cause this machine does it for me. May have to upgrade to the bigger steamer soon.

We serve coneys in our diner and this warmer/steamer makes all the difference. Before we would keep our hot dogs in water to stay warm and they would turn an awful color. Now hot dogs are steamed perfectly and kept warm inside this cute display. The buns come out so warm and soft as well. This machine helps us make the best coneys around. Thanks
We have used this and like it as far as functionality and ease of use/cleaning. The only thing I wish is that the hotdog side was bigger. We don't really steam the buns except for one at a time because they get mushy really quick.
Our dogs come out perfectly steamed everything! The ability of controlling how much steam comes out on the bun side helps keep waste down by not over steaming and ending up with mushy water logged buns!
