Designed to work with Avantco countertop mixers that have a #5 hub, this set of attachments is perfect for increasing the versatility of your machine.
When you need to grind meat for your pizza toppings, meatballs, sausages, and more, this hub attachment quickly connects to the #5 hub on your mixer. It is ideal for creating the occasional recipe that requires ground meat. This attachment comes with a plastic pusher to safely guide chunks of meat into the grinding attachment. It also has two different sized grinding plates, a coarse grind and a fine grind, so you can more effectively process meats. Also, the feed pan fits over the top of the attachment to hold a supply of cut meat to be slowly fed into the unit.
When you need to roll out and cut pasta dough, the pasta attachment set lets you do both and minimize the equipment needed. You can mix up your special pasta recipe in your mixer's bowl, then use this attachment set with the mixer's #5 hub to roll out and cut the dough into the perfect size noodles. Since the pasta set includes two cutter sizes, a narrow cutter and a wide cutter, you can choose the one that's best for your recipe. Or, simply roll out the dough to any thickness between 1/64" and 3/32" using the adjustable roller and use your own specialty cutters (sold separately) to make tortellini, ravioli, or any other pasta you desire.
To use the attachments in this set, simply remove the cap from your Avantco mixer's #5 hub. Insert the attachment into the hub and you're ready to go to work! Since the attachments run off of the mixer's 4/5 hp gear driven motor, you'll be able to keep up with low volume demand for freshy ground meats or your own homemade pasta.
So you have the most space when using this attachment, you can remove the bowl from your Avantco MIX8 series mixer and it will still run if the bowl lift is in the raised position. Note that the mixing head will still rotate with or without the bowl.
