This thermostat is the new version of this part, and it helps regulate the heating element on your unit. Use it to replace a worn or malfunctioning part to keep your unit operating efficiently. It's compatible with Avantco EG series electric countertop griddles. Please check the compatibility notes to ensure the right part is being purchased for your unit.
Perfect fit and solution to our griddle which starting to continuously stay on despite the dial being in the "off" position. The installation of this requires no specialized knowledge and will take you about an hour. We used both types of screwdrivers, and also some needle nose pliers to get the old thermostat out and this new one in.
