The Avantco IC1800 stands out as a superior induction model, showcasing durability and functionality. Despite one unit being compromised by water, the remaining 6 units have proven their longevity. Overall, a satisfactory product.

The item is definitely commercial grade, which can be overkill for a residential environment, but you get what you pay for. The unit powers up great and has a lot of adjustments. This is perfect for a residential setting as it's built to a higher standard.

I purchased 2 and they work great. I wish that the timer setting would turn off the machine and not just notify you. Also, it would be nice to set a timer for incriminates of 1 instead of 5. I am sure that it is for safety reasons to not walk away from heating something. I also think that the lights shouldn't flash when not in use. Otherwise the time is great.

A nice, solid 120v induction hotplate. I am using this in my all-electric camper van. It replaced a consumer level unit, and I have to say that I'm loving it. Good controls, solid construction. No complaints.

these things just keep going! I have two of them and use them every day in a busy little restaurant. they hold the temp well and heat up very fast. they don't get dangerously hot either. clean up well too. I'd absolutely buy again.

Absolutely love this device! It is my first induction cooktop, and it has quickly replaced my gas stove as I have purchased a second one. Cooking is now quicker, more precise, and cleanup is easier, and no more worries about the gas and/or burner being left on. The timer is also very nice to have so you can be cooking and leave the kitchen with no worries. And this unit is no toy: it appears to be built rugged and meant to last. Only drawback is the warranty does not currently cover residential use for some strange reason.
