This is a awesome induction cooker. Super slim design so it stores away really easy. The surface could not get any easier to clean. Recommended!

This guy heats things, which is what we wanted it for. Seems to work just as well as its more expensive brethren. Good deal for the money.

I have not used the item yet but I love the size of the item and the 1800w feature. I like counter top induction cookers because they are portable.

Avantco ICBTM-20 Countertop Induction Range / Cooker - 120V, 1800W is super useful. We can use it where we need it and it holds up very well.

Initially I didn’t know this equipment was not NSF approved so I had to buy another unit. When the law finally change to allow us to use it as long as it is UL certified I did started using it. If I never had my second burner, I would rate this one highly but since my second burner heats up faster and hotter I can’t say this is my favorite. The one thing I do like about this one is that it is lighter in weight and is cost effective. It definitely would get the job done.

Fantastic little induction range. You can spend a lot more money on induction burners if you want, but this one does all that you need it to!

As long as the range is durable, it's a good buy. No issues at a one month mark. Heats quickly. We use the controls that shows power wattage. Interestingly it jumps from 500 to 800, then 1000 and up. We're still playing with the controls, but I like this product.

This induction range counter top saved us when our equipment went out. We were also able to use as it portable and easy to move. We use it to make omelettes at our omelette station for our Sunday brunch.

The great induction range, 1800W is so powerful. You can boil a water in seconds. I also bought an induction-compatible pot and pan from WebstaurantStore, so there is never a guessing game.

This induction range is easy to use and efficient. It brings water to a boil quickly and maintains accurate temps over extended cook times. The only negative I've found is that the power button is extremely sensitive. One slight touch and the unit turns off. Thankfully, the beep notification sound is loud enough that you can easily reset it.

I use this induction range everyday for soups and chili and as a warmer when needed , works flawlessly. Small foot print with a lot of power and very reasonably priced.

Simple, clean design but fires up nearly instant. Works just as well as similar model I paid 5x for. Nearly set-it and forget-it consistent performance virtually eliminates needs for double boiler configurations.

I've been using diverse traditional electric and gas range tops. The Avantcto ICBTM-20, 1.8 KW, 120 V, reaches the 460º F very fast. I also have the bigger Avantco 3.5 KW, 220 V, and both models perform similarly in applications with skillets. Truly a good small induction range, the Avantco 1.8 W, we're reviewing with 5 stars. Many other good brands offer de 1 KW for a more expensive price. The smaller the cast iron skillet you are using, like the Tablecrat CW30152 24 oz mini casserole (8" diameters) with handles, the faster you can cook. When turning on, in a minute i'm frying eggs. I switch between 180ºF and 220ºF to do the perfect eggs.

We keep kosher and have limited space for the "milk" side of our kitchen. This induction burner is great b/c it's well-built, stores out of the way and heats up quickly so we can feed our kids in a hurry. It's also great b/c only the part that contacts the pan gets hot. I'd recommend this over a "residential" brand for home use given the modest increase in price.

There are many mixed reviews on this product. Common sense tells you not to use a pan larger than range, or it will not heat properly. I have only had it a few months, but it really meets my needs in my small commercial space. I am impressed with how quickly it gets up to temp. You barely have to touch the buttons to adjust it, so the lock feature makes it nice in case you brush the panel. For the price--really, you can't beat it.

We love this 120v induction range cooker. Works exactly as intended and would highly recommend. The only issues making sure we have the correct induction pans.

Firstly, I love induction. This worked ok for awhile. I like that it’s quite portable and lightweight. However, it didn’t last long. I wish I got more than a year of light duty use.

My team does multiple in-home as well as conference / large meeting cooking demonstrations per month and needed a reliable, cost-effective, readily portable induction unit to take on the road with us. We've been thrilled the past few months using this Avantco ICBTM-20 countertop induction unit - it's been a consistent performer, heats water and cooking goodies with amazing speed for us, and is a never-ending target of questions and comments from students and attendees. Will be adding two double burner induction units shortly, and have never noticed the high pitched whine that some users have reported in the past. For the price, this is a wonderful tool for the road or home kitchen.

Worked well for 2.5 years. It can easily overheat when used for pre-programmed 2hr time limit, especially with a large pot full of hot liquid (yes, not great for cooking). Just suddenly died, burnt out. Electrical heating devices can fail at any time. Nothing beats gas for consistency.

I bought one of these about 2 years ago. It is an incredible value. I have used it for most of my cooking needs. From making eggs, pancakes, slow frying Bacon to boiling water for pasta or rice or oatmeal. I normally use it on low setting. Rarely do I go over 1000. I keep a paper towel on top to keep it nice and clean. Only thing I do not like about it, is that the OFF setting does not turn off the display. Other negative is the timer. It uses 5 minute increments. Would be nice to be able to set the increments town a a single minute. Would I buy it again?. Yes, and I just ordered a two more.

These are great, economical, and versatile induction cooktops. They'll handle sizes of pans and skillets from six to ten inches, including cast iron. The won't take small five-inch pans or anything greater than ten inches. They bring the items to temperature quickly and hold the set temperature with a range of 140 to 420. The timer has increments of five minutes and shuts the cooktop off at the end of the period. These can be used for everything from keeping food warms to sauteing and pan frying.
