Ideal for creating first grinds, chilis, or stews, the Avantco 177MG1243 #12 stainless steel grinder plate is an efficient and effective addition to your butcher shop or deli! This plate is designed to work with the MG12 and MG12R meat grinders so you can grind meat to 1/8" thick.
This is a good addition to the grinder plates that come standard with the grinder. It has held up well with repeated use and produces a nice fine grind.

For my #12 grinder, I required a 1/8 grind plate. This is fantastic. I always use this to ground my meat first, then add flavor and finish with a smaller grinder. This plate was immaculate. There are no burrs or sharp edges to fix. It was a perfect fit. It was a little thicker than the one that came with my grinder, but it worked great.
