#5 Hub Meat Grinder Attachment for MIX8 Mixers

Turn your Avantco countertop mixer into a meat grinder with this convenient Avantco 177MIX8XMG #5 hub meat grinder attachment. When you need to grind meat for your pizza toppings, meatballs, sausages, and more, this hub attachment quickly connects to the #5 hub on your mixer. To use this attachment, simply open the cap on the front of your mixer (sold separately) and insert the attachment into the hub. Since it runs off of the mixer's powerful 4/5 hp gear driven motor, you can keep up with your low volume demand for freshly ground meat or poultry.

This attachment comes with a plastic pusher to safely guide chunks of meat into the grinding attachment. It also has two different sized grinding plates, a coarse grind and a fine grind, so you can more effectively process meats. Also, the feed pan fits over the top of the attachment to hold a supply of cut meat to be slowly fed into the unit.

So you have the most space when using this attachment, you can remove the bowl from your Avantco MIX8 series mixer and it will still run if the bowl lift is in the raised position. Note that the mixing head will still rotate with or without the bowl.
