We use this daily. The black rubber started falling apart, but we got a replacement fast. Since then, we've purchased several extras because we got tired of washing it several times a day. So stock up on this item. It scrapes the side and bottom nicely.

This mixer head is a great product! The silicone blade provides a clean scrape along the edges of the mixer bowl and prevents a lot of waste.

Found this to be a god-send for use with its namesake mixer. The flexible silicone blade does a MUCH BETTER job of clearing product from the sides of the mixing bowl and incorporating those products than the beater blade without the silicone. I was frustrated without the silicone, now I am much happier with the mixer in general.

These silicone beaters worked great for a few months, but after just average use (and being hand washed only), the silicone started to peel off.

We got this to scrape the sides while making cheesecakes. The beater will not stay hooked up to the mixer and falls off. It causes us not to get scraped sides.
