This inset container feels durable which should last me for a long time. The height and size is big enough to store just about anything.
These 11qt bain maries are just what I was looking for. Without rivets and handles, the are quick to clean. Here are my 4 favorite uses: (1) On weekend mornings, I sometimes like to make extra waffles to heat up in the oven on a tray some morning later in the week. And finally, I have a non-plastic, efficient way to store them in the refrigerator. The waffles fit perfectly. I use a Corelle dinner plate as a cover. (2) I keep one of these bain maries next to my sink for fruit and vegetable trimmings, which I empty into my outdoor worm bin every few days. In between cooking sessions, I keep it covered with an ordinary dinner plate to keep out fruit flies. (3) I also use one of these bain maries to keep in the refrigerator to thaw frozen proteins that I'd like to have ready for later in the week, like frozen packages of ground meat, roasts, whole chickens, steaks, etc. Before this, I used a large bowl or pan, both of which took up too much horizontal refrigerator space and didn't have enough height to keep some items from hanging over the sides and potentially dripping meat juice onto the refrigerator shelf. (4) I've also recently been using these bain maries to hold large quantities of fruit which I am macerating for jamming/canning. Again, I love that I store them in my refrigerator without inefficiently consuming so much of the width of the refrigerator shelf. The only thing that disappoints me about these bain maries is that they DO NOT nest for storage and therefore take up a lot of space when they are not in use. I have some smaller bain maries from webstaurantstore that DO nest so I had just, mistakenly, assumed these would too.
Well - I gotta say - it's just an insert - but a great one of that. Not a lot to review but very happy with our product!
The warm inset was used along with the stainless steel warmers. I use them for various occasions. They are very versatile. Soups, spagetti's, chili's and so much more. Easy to clean, very portal and practical. Easy to cover and put up in any size refrigerator as well. Thank you once again for another great purchase.
This is a great Bain Marie. Works perfectly for me. I mostly use it for an ice bath bath, surrounding the Bain Marie with ice to quickly cool down the ice cream bases I have made.
Having a second pot makes swapping out as food runs low easy. The large 11 qt. size makes it so you don't have to change often. Being stainless steel makes clean up easy.
If you purchased the soup kettle, these extra inserts are a must have. When soups are running low you can always grab a back-up. Will be purchasing more.

Use with my Soup kettle, fits perfect, it is very good quality, heavy duty which helps prevent food from sticking, (you can use non-stick spray before adding anything), and is easy to clean .

This is a quality well made stainless steel container. It is very durable, we haven't had any problems with it denting. The walls are not too thick and not too thin, just perfect.
Solid material and easy to clean, order them as reload pots for our Soup Kettle Warmer and they work great. Will be ordering them again.
This was purchased as a replacement for an 'empty' kettle that we picked up second hand (hey, we were just starting out). We actually bought two kettles and this replacement insert turned out to be heavier gauge than the other OEM version.
High quality stainless steel inset. It is made fairly sturdy and holds the heat well. I highly recommend if you are purchasing the soup kettle warmer.
Simple, great size,easy care and storage. This no frills stainless steel storage container is perfect for dividing and cooling, then storing our soups. Perfect fit with chilling paddle for portioning soup to cool.

This Stainless Steel Bain Marie Pot is solid. Good study material and really great for working with plastic film as it hold well and there is a nice lip to hold on to in order to move it.
Very versatile containers to prepare salad dressing and hold hot sauces and also use them as storage containers. You cannot beat the price anywhere else.
We bought this as an extra insert for the Avantco S30SS 11qt Stainless Steel Soup Warmer and were pleasantly surprised to find that the pot can be used on induction burners and that so long as low heat was used we could heat up soup directly in the insert as opposed to using a pot and transferring it to the insert.
Quality constructed stainless steel product. Cleans up easily and is dishwasher safe which makes clean up a breeze. Works great with the Avantco Soup Kettle Warmers.
We purchased this inset for a backup to the one that comes with the Avantco S30 11 Qt. Soup Kettle Warmer. During peak demand hours, it makes it a lot easier and more professional to switch out the insets instead of the old fashioned way of just dumping in more product. You definitely want to spend the few extra dollars to save time later.
great size, not too thin so it holds temperature perfectly. we use them for hot but also cold products ( we put crepe batter on it over an ice bucket and works great!)
You can't have a soup restaurant and kettles without a ton of these. We like this size a lot and have already ordered more. They get used every day.
Great inset and a great value. I went with Avantco to save money over the name brand inset. It is a high quality piece of equipment.
