For quick and easy cleaning, this unit features a waste tray to collect food particles. Simply remove the tray, empty or rinse it, and return it back to its original spot.
Operation is simple and intuitive, thanks to the 5 large control knobs located on the front of the unit. These controls operate the burners independently, so you can set each burner on the griddle to a different temperature and cook different items at the same time. Unlike other gas griddles that require liquid propane or natural gas, this unit ships ready for a natural gas connection, but can be converted to accept liquid propane. The unit uses a total 150,000 BTU for operation.

This is an excellent product. You can use it with propane or natural gas

I have been using this griddle 5 days a week for about 5 hours a day with no issues at all. For about a month now. It was easy to field convert it to lp gas . Keep in mind when looking at the dimensions when they measure from front to back of the unit they don’t include the 2 inch gas pipe sticking out the back. You’ll also add the regulator which is another inch so if your limited in space like I was you have have to buy some iron pipe elbows to divert the gas. I’m in a food trailer so my griddle table barley fit the unit . After all is said and done I love it,
Really easy to clean and maintain
We have used this 24" countertop griddle for 6 months now, and I am pretty happy with it. It heats pretty quickly and cooks our quesadillas and grilled cheese perfectly. People love them! My only complaints are that the pilot light is a little hard to reach and one of my staff lost the little metal rod the first day, but some long matches get the job done. My other complaint is that it is hard to get the surface clean and shiny ever since the first use. I've tried several products, but would love a recommendation on how to make this look cleaner. I recommend this product; good price for a good product.
We purchased this grill a few months ago! It heats well and cooks our items consistently, but it’s very very hard to clean the grill surface. We’ve tried multiple grill cleaning items but to no avail.
Avantco Chef Series CAG-36-MG 36" Countertop Gas Griddle with Manual Controls - 90,000 BTU - This is ideal griddle and well fit in my small kitchen.
I have had this flat grill for about 2 years now and it has worked perfectly. Not a leak or anything wrong with it. Got it installed in my food truck and gets right to work with all the burners getting the griddle hot in about 10 mins or less.
Spend the money and get one with thermostatic controls, this gets the job done but you better have a way to read the surface temp so you can get it dialed in to your desired cooking temperature. Even once you do get it dialed in though it seems it will wander +/- 10 to 50 degrees. Otherwise great value for price.
