It is designed to keep coffee hot and fresh for hours - through your entire catering event or meal time.

This urn is made from durable 304 stainless steel, which offers superior corrosion resistance compared to other types of stainless steel. The exterior has a polished finish that makes it an attractive addition to any coffee station, and also makes it easy to clean!

Designed with safety in mind, this urn comes with a heavy-duty locking lid that prevents spills during movement, while cool-touch handles give you a place to grip the urn safely. The double-walled design also keeps the exterior at a comfortable temperature too, preventing accidental scalds or burns. Boil-dry and overheat protection features keep your urn from reaching unsafe temperatures and give you peace of mind that even during busy shifts you can count on it to operate within safe parameters.

Using the urn couldn't be easier. It comes with a sight glass so that you can easily tell when it's time to brew more coffee, and with its removable lid, brew basket, and stem, setting it up and cleaning the unit is a breeze. Additionally, it has a maximum fill line to help prevent overfilling and accidental overflows, while indicator lights let you know when the urn is "heating" and "ready". A simple on/off switch makes it easy to get brewing right away, and its dual-heater thermostat system will take care of the rest - brewing and holding coffee at ideal temperatures. It requires a 120V electrical connection and comes with a cord and plug. Brews approximately (1) 5 oz. cup per minute.

Customer Reviews

We purchased this urn for working as a concessionaire at Comicon in Phoenix. We were far away from the Starbucks in the convention center and knew that people would appreciate a hot cup of coffee! It worked really well for us all weekend long! The only time we had an issue was when there was an instance with user error on the amount of grounds and we needed to try to re-brew a pot immediately. It needed to be allowed to cool down for a bit so as not to overheat and turn itself back off. In conclusion, this is a great pot for serving large groups. However, it would not be useful if you need to make pot after pot for long periods of time.

For large volumes this is great. It keeps the coffee or hot water burning hot for hours!! The only downside is the large amount of electricity these urns need to make coffee.

Sharp looking stainless steel urn that brews good tasting coffee fairly quickly. The basket that holds the coffee is a fine mesh that doesn't allow the grounds to fall through like others I've used.

This is a durable, powerful percolator that brings and keeps water very hot. We use it for hot water, so I don't know how percolated coffee would taste, but the water comes out hotter than my home instant-hot faucet. The down side is that it is quite noisy, so if you are looking for a silent urn this is not for you.

I purchased this for my church's coffee bar and Ladies Tea. It was efficient and quick to heat the water. I was pleased that we could easily fit a coffee cup under the spout. If I could change anything it would be to make it a smudge proof material but otherwise it was a great addition to our facility.

We love this coffee urn. We do concessions and we can brew about 5 gallons of coffee and chill out for our iced coffee. This is perfect if you need large batch is all at once. It’s also very fast at brewing and easy to clean.

A good product for the price. But a bit messy to use. Toward the end of brewing, the lid jumps up slightly with every percolator pump, letting some coffee spray out and drip down the side of the pot.

Guys in the office loves the new coffee urn. Coffee is in demand. It's beautiful in design and easily maintained. Even for the price well worth the buy.

It boils up the water quieter than most other urns Iv'e had. When it switches to the "keep warm" mode, it keeps the water very hot. So you can add sugar & cold milk to your coffee and it will still be very hot even in a non-styrofoam cup. Their is a constant "ticking" noise in the "keep warm" mode from the constant slight bubbling of the water. I don't know if every Avantco 65 cup urn keeps it this hot or the temperature varies from one urn to the next. The lid is metal so it is very hot to the touch but the lid handle stays cool. There is a tiny vent in the lid (I don't know why) so there is some minimal water loss even when not in use (like if left on overnight) due to evaporation. Its only been in use 10 days so I can't comment yet regarding its longevity. But so far I like it enough that I may order a second one. This one is being used at home.

Keeps coffee very hot, works well for large serving operations. Wider than the 40-60 cup options, so be mindful of counterspace

I wanted to give this product 5 stars. It makes a wonderful cup of coffee. I love that there is not a cheap filter inside and the urn is very well made. It is difficult to get out the last several cups of coffee without tilting the machine forward, but that was okay too. Not a big deal breaker and pretty easily done. It is easy to clean and the price point was unbeatable. The problem that I have is that all of the sudden, water is leaking from the bottom of the urn. We almost made it a full year, but sad to say that we didn't get there. Overall it was still better than a stove top version and I would most likely purchase again.
