Perfect size and heating, bought it for cooking eggs, omelet, scrambled eggs and hamburgers. It fit perfect over the counter, I had to change the plug.

Small enough for mobile use and markets, electric means you can use it indoors. Thick base makes it have even heat, side splatter guards are a plus.

SUPER impressed with this unit. I was expecting much less quality than our Waring griddle, but not the case. This griddle seems every bit as well built and has much nicer, more durable legs that are adjustable and higher than the Waring. As long as it hold up over time, this is a real winner.

If you have a small work space to work with, this is a perfect size. Cuts cooking time in half, haven't burnt anything yet. Manual states do not use any chemicals or scrub pads to clean the cooking surface, so I been just wiping down with water and soap. Which still leaves some dark spots from cooking, still trying to figure out what to do to clean it better. Had it over a week and been using it everyday, overall I like the product so far.

No issues whatsoever. Heats up quickly and perfectly evenly grills all of our sandwiches. Easy to clean as well. The tall legs make it easy to clean underneath.

It's a great counter top on grill. It keeps the temperature well and it's able to run all day! We were making potato pancakes, shnitzels and more on this grill. And the price is great too.

We have an older version of this griddle the 177EG16 120 - and it has been a real workhorse. We cook a wide range of foods on it and it does a great job. With the small space we have it is the perfect griddle. It heats fast and cooks evenly. Not sure what we would do without it.

This is a very nice little griddle. We use it specifically to toast hotdog buns, but we did cook on it to season it in when we first got it, and it works well for that even being electric versus gas.

Great griddle for a great price! Was very happy with this purchase only to find out we really do not have the room for it. Did not return because to restocking fee which I honestly do not like! Sold on my own just to avoid the restocking fee.

The Avantco EG30N, so far, is everything I had hoped for. We use it for hot sandwiches and breakfast items. The only downside to the grill is that it takes about 2 hours to heat up to 350 degrees. So I am usually at work 1 hour prior to opening to get a jump start on heating the grill. We have used it a little over a month right now and I am happy with it!

This is an absolutely fantastic griddle for the price! We purchased this 2 years ago for our cafe and use it 7 days a week for 9 to 11 hours a day consistently as a griddle for sandwiches and cooking eggs and sausage and bacon on top of. The two different heat source sides allow us to have one side as a griddle to toast and the other wise as a warmer to keep things warm. It's easy to scrape clean and keep in good working order and the legs are adjustable. Highly recommend and will absolutely be buying this again in the future if I ever need to replace my existing one. It's great!

This is a great griddle for cooking burgers bratwurst hot dogs etc use one side to cook the other for warming and I have found it useful in my concessions stand recommend highly great buy!

This is exactly what I needed, it takes a few to heat up but once it does it puts out some heat! Had to switch the plug out for 20a that’s about it.

Overall a good unit at a great price. Performance is OK but could be better, as the power output is limited to 2675W/3560W depending on your electrical service. For 240V service and medium-duty use I'd say it's adequate but it's a little bit slower when cooking 12 frozen burger patties back to back. If using on 208V service I'd recommend sticking to non-frozen or less dense products if you need continuous back to back service. It's great for eggs and toasting buns for example, but moisture laden or frozen foods definitely cause a temperature drop.

The Avantco Electric Countertop Griddle is great. I'm not sure what our kitchen would do without this little griddle. Works amazing if you keep it cleaned well.

We needed something small and simple just for one purpose and that is to toast hot dog buns. This performs and it gets hot! The dial goes up to 570 but at around 425 it toasts buns in seconds. Compared to other brands this unit is very inexpensive. Only had it for a few days but so far so good!

Great griddle for the price. Could have a larger grease trap, but regardless it is a very nice machine and heats up very fast (220V). Thanks!

At first I thought I was gonna want a gas griddle or maybe even a bigger griddle, I was wrong I absolutely love this griddle and it heats up fast and accurately. This is my favorite tool in our food truck kitchen.

This grill is the perfect size for our small kitchen. Works really well and hold use to anything. Its easy to clean and care for.

Sturdy little griddle great for the small space in our food trailer. Grease trap is a good size. Heats up quickly. We did find that this griddle needs to be plugged in on a circuit by itself. It would not blow the breaker but the griddle would not get enough power to heat up properly.

This griddle has served us well. With where we've placed it in the kitchen, the middle does tend to get hotter so we usually set it 10 or 20 degrees below the edges. Takes about 15 or 20 minutes to get to heat up if you turn it all the way up, and retains heat very well. (Discovered this when I was seasoning it and was waiting for it to cool down -- it took forever!)

This countertop griddle worked perfectly. After some learning to regulate the heating elements. However, it stayed hot for a long time after shutting down. Wasn't sure when would be a good time to clean the cook top. Hot or cold? Or what is a good cleaner for a stainless cooktop?

I love this griddle. Perfect size for me. Solid construction , nice plate thickness, heats evenly and works as expected. Also the product arrived on time and the legs height is adjustable making it easier to place. Love it.!

The griddle does take a while to heat up, but once it is up and going its all good. The small size makes it ideal for small commercial businesses.

This griddle was exactly what we needed. This small griddle has greatly increased the productivity of our small kitchen. Anyone that is looking for an entry level price range griddle can't go wrong with this model, seems to me to perform very well for the price. The fact that this plugs into any household electrical outlet was a plus for me since we are limited in our power options.

This griddle is a god sent, it is used everyday and has really made our cooking process in the kitchen easier for sure. The only thing is that the red label is coming off.

I've been using this griddle for one week and so far it is working great! The great trap is a little small, you have to empty it often.

Only had this grill for a few days and already couldn't live without it. Just an incredible value for the money. I tested the temperature and found the thermostat to be dead on and calibrated to the center of the grill, and the 1/2" thick grill surface heats evenly all over. In fact, from the hottest point to the coolest point, I found less than 20 degrees F differential. I would definitely buy this grill again.

We use this in a commercial kitchen without a hood vent, we mainly use it to grill chicken. It heats up in about 20 minutes and cooks very evenly. It's easy to clean also. Definitely recommend for an application similar to mine.

This grill is perfect for food trucks and outdoor events. I heats up fast and takes at least 20 minutes to unheat. Easy washing afterwards. Very easy to control temp. settings. Just be mindful of the powerful cord. Not a standard outlet and requires 30 amp breaker. Use for outdoor or indoor. All around great buy though.

Great little work horse of a griddle. Be careful not to throw the legs out with the packaging as they are very hard to find in the box (surprisingly.)

I love having my own flat top at home! I use it for seafood to get the perfect crust on scallops. I bought it to make burgers and I can easily cook 8 at a time.

I am a 10 year seasoned cook on a food truck. I have cooked on alot of griddles. But the Avantco EG30N 30" Electric Countertop Griddle is definitely in its own lane. It distributes heat evenly, very reliable, and very well priced. All i can say is, this is a must if you are interested in buying one.

The griddle is a great investment. the only issue that I had was that the plastic wrapping was stuck to the griddle and I accidentally dropped the catch tray and the outer lid broke off. but the performance of the griddle exceeded my expectation.

I'v been using this griddle for 2 years, going on three now. I use it for my seasonal business from May to August. It's easy to clean and heats up evenly. I would recommend this grill for anyone with a takeout!

I ordered this to have as a backup and for light duty use as I normally use our larger gas griddle for everyday use. This one is perfect to have on hand for slower times and smaller batch cooking. Works great for quesadillas and toast - things that don't produce a lot of grease. Once we open back up for normal business I will definitely be using this more often.

Very durable little unit. We just use for toasting bread so never have a problem with heat retention. Very easy to use and clean. Keep in mind it is not NSF, which reflects in the price.

Great mid sized griddle. Been in use for 1 month now, no heat drop, still heats up quickly, even distribution, and easy to clean. Splash guard is perfect height, and easy access drip pan located on front.

The Avantco EG16N 16" Electric Countertop Griddle is great, this has been ordered in the past but this is the first review that has been done we will be ordering more for the sandwich shop.

This little grill will do the job if, you have a small low volume business. It is not made for a high traffic or a busy kitchen. But overall it is OK and do recommend it.

My cafe is adorably tiny but we use 2 of these as our main cooking source and lets just say they get the job done. Fast heating, even cooking what more could you ask for? They come pre-oiled so be careful taking them out the packing boxes and be sure to do a thorough wipe down and heating before first use.

This grill have been a plus to my food truck. It works like a charm daily. I have no issues with this equipment at all. Almost 2 years and I have no regrets.

Game changer. We have a VERY small restaurant space, and were using the 17" griddle for years before upgrading to this unit. Totally worth it. Expensive to get the electrical on our end but that plus the cost of the unit are well worth the extra real estate we've gained with this larger model. My only complaint is that the scrape hole is small, and the box that excess waste is scraped into is much smaller than the 17" model. All in all an excellent addition to our space.

Great little grill, purchased to be used along side smaller Avantco grill. Grill is a work horse, reliable every day. Needed to run a 208 circuit, my problem, other than that, no problems.

The electric countertop griddle is very good for small spaces and very efficient. It doesnt heat evenly but I havent seen any tother griddle that does.

Awesome little griddle. Bought this as a backup to our gas griddle and after trying it decided to put it into service to grill buns and plant based burgers so there is no cross-contamination. this is a great little griddle. if you are short on space, this is what you need. plugs into the wall and can easily be moved to clean. little recovery time.

24” is perfect work at my restaurant, very convenience to use than gas one ,this is cheapest one , so in the beginning u need test few time to setup up the right temperature.

This grill is awesome! It can fit nine four inch patties and cook them in about six minutes. Highly recommend this product. I have had no problems. I own two of them and use one for them toasting hamburger buns. Highly recommended for concession stands or food trucks. Half the price of other brands. I cook about 75 to 150 burgers a day on mine. Only bad thing is it drops in temp and can take a bit to recover but if you plan ahead you can get around that.

So far I really like this flat top I got the 16 inch one because I really needed a lot of space I don't have a lot of space and I needed it it works fantastic I turned it on and it heated up it shut off when it was supposed to I really like that feature

It's the perfect size for a small cafe kitchen but the only downside is that the surface isn't perfectly flat so I have to clean some areas that weren't washed properly again. Overall, it is very good for the price.

Bought a scratch and dent model years ago. Still going strong. It's seen some industrial use and some home use. Great for a small sandwich shop or diner, or for a home cook who wants an upgrade over a slab of cast iron slapped on top of their stove (just be careful of smoke if you live in a small apartment). Nice size grease trap for the size of the griddle! Sometimes takes a minute to get hot, as is usually the case with electric flat tops, but maintains temperature nicely.

This griddle makes food delicious. It cleans easily which is a plus in kitchen. The heat goes up the way we liked but it takes a bit of time.

Very thick stainless construction, love the indicator lights to let you know that is on and that is it heating, the heating light goes off once desired temp is reached. Unit is great for food trucks especially for those who can't afford exhaust hoods, most states allow electric griddles without need for a hood, which in our build was the case. Great value.

Ordered this griddle installed it and love it. I place my pots on there to cook my soups. I use it to do eggs, burgers whatever is needed at the moment for the customer. Easy to clean. Outlet was hard to find at electrical supply area in my area. Once I located it had electrician install it. I am golden.

This is a great little griddle for all your side projects that you need to use in a restaurant we use it on the weekends just for our pancake since we serve so many pancakes we are able to fit 5 to 6 of our huge pancakes it cook some beautifully had a nice 350 temperature .

Been using this little guy for a month now. It's been great. Cook top heats evenly and up quickly allowing for a nice finish product. Only thing to be carful about is the tiny catch tray when cleaning, other than that nothing else bad to say!

This griddle heats up quick and holds heat well. The deep size makes it easy to cook multiple eggs, pancakes, bacon, or whatever you want quickly.

It is a great product. It takes about 10 - 15 minutes to fully heat up. The reason I gave 4 starts is, the splash guard around it is not fully attached to the body so it tends to leak when water or any liquid goes around the edges. Though overall it is a great product

I was excited to get this until I cut my fingers twice while opening this. The edges of the splash guards are RAZOR SHARP. My employee also cut her finger trying to pull the plastic off. Avantco needs to spend a little more time getting these things SAFE for use. Anyone trying to prepare food on these will find their fingers cut up if they hit the edges. I had to get a sander and sand down the edges before putting in my kitchen. Great looking unit. Horrible QA.

I run a small print shop and need a kitchen on site for those late nights and lunch breaks. This grill is perfect. It has a small footprint, but gives you the functionality of a much bigger unit. I looked at several other 110v grills, but this was the only choice. It has a great entry price point, offers a seriously sturdy top and does all you need. Cleanup is very easy. For those of you who don't know, the best way I have found to clean up is to leave the grill hot, and pour a small amount of water on it, then scrape clean. BE CAREFUL! Water + Hot Grill = Steam! Don't worry about the staining of the metal top. This is normal. You do not need it to be shiney in order for it to be clean. My unit came in with a small dent abouve the catch tray, but that does not bother me so much. When I plugged it in for the first time, there was smoke coming from under the top. I think that is normal, as it is shipped with a coating of oil on the top. Some of it must have gotten on the heating element. Go ahead and get this grill. You won't be disappointed! Great Unit!

We have a tiny kitchen and this flat top has been a saving grace. Fitting next to our induction burner it has a relatively small foot print. Runs 8 hours a day 7 days a week with no problems.

Nice adjustable feet and it was nice that the surface came protected in oil. After burning that off, I applied some sunflower oil and cranked it until it smoked. Handled another round, then it was on to cooking. Turned out bean and griddled cheese tacos to the crew.

Such a great piece of equipment. I was worried about the temperature not getting hot enough due to having to buy electric as opposed to propane, this unit delivers an accurate temp and an even cooking surface. Easy cleaning and sturdy build. We may be going for the next size up!!!

I was really skeptical when I first ordered this product, it just seemed the price was too great. I have to tell you this is a great heavy duty grill. I run it about 10 hours a day and have never had any problems. The grill is easy to clean and makes anything from eggs to hamburgers. We bought this electric griddle time ago. We use it all day long, 365 days per year, always switched on. It is really an amazing product!
