Product Features
The Avantco EG48N electric countertop griddle allows operators to prepare various foods in a 48" footprint. Whether you're cooking pancakes, burgers, grilled cheese, or scrambled eggs, this heavy-duty stainless steel griddle provides the durability and performance you need to get the job done.
The 1" thick steel cooking surface heats evenly throughout for consistent cooking results, no matter where you place food on the griddle plate. And with 4 separate temperature knobs, overheat protection, and power on / heating indicator lights, this griddle is as safe to use as it is powerful and effective. The 3" splash guards on the sides and back of the griddle also protect the user and surrounding walls from hot grease and oil splatters.
The stainless steel legs that come with this griddle are adjustable from 3 15/16" to 5 15/16" to provide stability on any surface. A channel along the front of the griddle plate collects grease and directs it into the removable grease tray. When it's time to clean up, the tray can be removed and emptied quickly. Four separate thermostatic controls allow you to adjust the temperature to suit the cooking requirements of different foods. This prevents you from burning one product while others finish cooking.

Great product, comes in installed, secured crate, definitely need an extra assistance on displaying the equipment on counter top. Thorough instructions, could fit a minimum 6-8 sandwiches at once, heats up fast and easy to maintain

This griddle was great in a pinch! When our big grill went out and we needed to keep cooking, this griddle kept the food flowing. It works good for the purpose, its sturdy (pretty heavy actually). Just know that the drip catch is small so if you're using it for commercial use like we are you must remember to check it often. I would recommend this brand and style of griddle.

This is exactly what I needed, it takes a few to heat up but once it does it puts out some heat! Had to switch the plug out for 20a that’s about it.

Overall a good unit at a great price. Performance is OK but could be better, as the power output is limited to 2675W/3560W depending on your electrical service. For 240V service and medium-duty use I'd say it's adequate but it's a little bit slower when cooking 12 frozen burger patties back to back. If using on 208V service I'd recommend sticking to non-frozen or less dense products if you need continuous back to back service. It's great for eggs and toasting buns for example, but moisture laden or frozen foods definitely cause a temperature drop.

This countertop griddle worked perfectly. After some learning to regulate the heating elements. However, it stayed hot for a long time after shutting down. Wasn't sure when would be a good time to clean the cook top. Hot or cold? Or what is a good cleaner for a stainless cooktop?
