Fry up a variety of different food items with this convenient Avantco F100 10 lb. electric countertop fryer! Built to out-perform all others in its class, this 10 lb. fryer is perfect for light-duty applications like delis, small sandwich shops, and concession stands. The compact size allows you to tuck it into any corner on the counter, and the heavy-duty stainless steel construction adds extended durability. Thanks to the thermostatic controls, you can adjust the temperature of the oil to from 120 - 370 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate the appropriate frying temperatures for different foods.

To ensure safety for you and your employees, the fryer features a minimum and maximum oil fill line. The heavy-duty fryer basket features a black coated handle for heat protection and operator comfort. After you've finished frying your food, simply hang the basket on the hanger to let any remaining oil drain out. It also serves as a great tool for cooling your freshly fried products while you focus on other kitchen tasks. To expedite the cleaning process at the end of the night, the components lift out of the fryer easily. A crumb screen rests on the bottom of the tank and catches excess crumbs so they don't burn and create a mess, and can be disposed of by simply lifting the screen up and discarding the debris. The included night cover helps protect your unit from airborne contaminants during off hours. The Avantco single countertop fryer requires a 120V electrical connection.

This unit is not designed for constant, heavy use.

This fryer is the perfect size for frying small items, like donuts, waffles, french fries and more. I love that the oil receptacle is a standard half deep steam pan, which makes it easy to clean and swap out during busy service. Great little fryer.

Great little fryer perfect for our catering business. Easy to clean and doesn't take up much counter space. Doesn't generate a ton of heat and will work on a regular 15 amp breaker if you need to use in your home or food truck. For use at home my recommendation is to set up in the garage or patio.

I ordered this Avantco Countertop Fryer with no previous commercial fryer experience. For me, as a food trailer owner who does a brisk lunch business, this is a great fryer. I don't know how long it takes to heat compared to other fryers, but I have experienced no major adverse problems. The components come apart to make clean up easy. I have 3 minor complaints. The red Avantco face doesn't wipe grease away very easily. The second more serious issue are the little finish metal pimples that stick out on the body where the metal joins and they weren't filed away. They have the ability to stab or cut you if you aren't careful. the third issue is the feet; they are beginning to get soft and leave black marks from being greased/cleaned so often. I have used this fryer for approximately 1 1/2 years. It is easy to clean (other than the face), and does its job well. Recently I thought I was going to have to buy another fryer, but finally realized that the heating element/control wasn't seeded in correctly and this activated the safety device, therefore cutting the power; this is exactly what it is designed to do. I would not hesitate to buy another one.

The temperature control works well and the dual tank provides adequate space and is helpful when frying foods separately such as egg rolls and desserts. The only drawback we have found is that the basket handle will sometimes fall out of place, so we try not to shake the basket. Other than the basket handle, this countertop fryer does the job.

We have messed around with many fryers for use in our home until we found this one. Its higher capacity oil size helps to eliminate temperature drop which results in greasy food. You will never regret buying this fryer.

Deep baskets allow for plenty of items to be cooked at once. Takes a while to heat up, but nothing major. I would consider buying 2 single tank fryers vs this dual one in case your electrical connections require flexibility. Overall great product.

This fryer works great! I agree with many of the other comments though about the handles on the baskets. They do not stay in place. I found a fix though. If you bend out the bottoms of the handle and run the handle "around" the opening instead of through it, and they bend the bars back, it is a solid fix and they work great, the down side is you will not be able to fold them over at night, it is a permanent position for the handles. The unit heats up in about 20 minutes. WE do a full bag of fries (6 bags to a case type) in about 14 minutes it yields us about 12 orders. This is a good light use machine, I wouldn't want to use it 10 hours a day 7 days a week. AS always I was satisfied with the price paid and the quick shipping. It took care of our needs for a high school foot ball game on a Friday night and will do so for years to come I'm sure.

Bought this fryer for an outdoor Bachelor Party. Got heated up in no time, about 15-20mins. Worked great! We made onion rings, fried goat cheese balls, and zeppoles. Everything came out great. Needs time to cool down when you are finished. I would definitely recommend this fryer to anyone. I have used it 3 times since I purchased the fryer a few weeks ago. All you need is oil, Canola worked fine, and an outlet. Make sure you have a place for the used oil after it cools down!

We have 2 floor standing deep fryers, but I bought this one for shrimp only. Works well, takes about 20 to 30 mins to heat up to 350 degrees but once it's there it works well. For the money's worth you can't beat it. Have had it for 2 years for lent and it is still going strong. The only thing is once we thought it was broken, but it wasn't.. there is a switch in the back when you put it together (if you buy it you'll see how it comes apart) we didn't have it pushed down far enough when they put it back together to trigger the switch. My husband figured out their mistake when he went to "fix" it. Needless to say it was an easy fix and just make sure you push it down tight when you take it apart to clean it!

Absolutely fantastic little electric countertop fryer! We have had this for about 2 years now and use it 7 days a week, heavily, 9-11 hours a day frying potatoes and pork belly and bacon and sausage and cauliflower. We do not do wings or french fries or frozen novelty appetizers so I cannot comment on those, but it works so well for what we need. I just ordered a new replacement one after heavy use in the past 2 years because the rubber feet bottoms started to corrode and the oil caked on the inside and outside of the holder and the basket. It was starting to be a little electrically inconsistent and would go on the fritz every few weeks, but I truly believe that was just from the heavy consistent use. This little guy is a beast and definitely work the money and it will last you much longer than 2 years if you use it for lighter fare and less consistently. If you're looking for a heavy duty deep fryer with a large capacity, this is not the item, but if you're looking for a sturdy little compact guy that gets the job done consistently, this little warrior will work wonders for you. Highly recommend and will continue purchasing it in the future for our needs!

This a light duty fryer! Set your expectations accordingly. Best for occasional use of small batches and nothing more. Smaller batches of 1/4 cut frys and similar product fry well, but if you get close to the limits the temperature will drop too much after product is added and you'll have mixed results. Edges are sharp, but with some common sense can be easily avoided. Cleaning is amazing.. the entire basin (which appears to be a steam pan?) is removable for cleaning. As with most Avantco products, there's a parts list and prices are reasonable. I haven't had any issues, but it's nice to see parts available for replacement at a reasonable cost.

We use our Avantco fryer at least once per month for preparing appetizers for dinner parties. We can easily fit 2 lbs of chicken fingers in the basket and fry them to a crisp without dropping the oil temperature too much. We also use it to quickly fry home made corn chips and anything else we can think of. Most of the unit breaks down quickly for easy cleanup in the dishwasher. The electric components are not easy to clean unfortunately, and always have a slightly greasy film because we really cant wash them under hot water as we would like. All in all, this is a fantastic quality machine at a great price. If you dont have one, yet, you NEED one!

This is the of the most useful Father's Day gift I've ever received! The best part is with the large capacity I can cook enough fries at once that everyone gets served at the same time. This is a great fryer. Hands down better than a home use fryer that was gifted to me years ago. It hold so much more and the recovery time is just minutes. I use the double fry method for french fries. I fried them the first time. Once back to temp I put in 4 hand dipped corn dogs. By the time the corn dogs were done (3-4 minutes) the fryer was already back to temp. I took the dogs out and put the fries back in for 2 more minutes. Everything was hot and on the table within minutes!

I havethe essentially same #F120 (the only difference between the F120 and F100 is that the F120 has a separate, illuminated On/Off switch which makes the green jewel light redundant). But they both need to have the orange light re-labeled: "Hot" does not mean it is up to set temperature, it means that the unit is still heating. It should be re-labeled to "Heating." I find the set-to-actual temperatures a bit high but accurate enough for practical use. In my tests, the set/actual temperatures (average of two thermometers and rounded off to closest 5F, full tank) are: 160/200 - 230/260 - 300/325 and 370/390. I've had the F120 for quite some time now, and it has performed to my expectations.

This little fryer is a work horse and performed with amazing results. I pushed it way beyond light duty use its first weekend and I was so impressed I am definitely getting a second one. So easy to set up and clean. Avantco products are very underrated in my opinion and I'm glad websturaunt offers them. Get this fryer you won't be disappointed. Read the owners manual and follow the guidelines and watch this fryer perform. Thanks websteraunt

I have purchased many home fryers in the past and they have all worked OK. I used the Avantco fryer tonight for the first time and it cooked fantastic! I used canola oil to fry and everything was nice and crispy. I am soooo happy with this fryer and I'm sure it will last a lot longer than my past fryers and you can't beat the price. I bought this for an annual New Years Eve party a couple of years ago, not for a business, and it's an excellent fryer. because it takes up a good chunk of counter space we only use it a few times a year, but it has made those parties SO much easier (and tastier) than trying to deal with a regular household sized electric fryer or a stovetop kettle with oil. The storage cover protects the oil so you can use it for several days in a row. Once you pour out the used oil then cleanup is a lot easier than I was fearing.

Convenient product for frying small baskets of items or small desserts such as funnel cakes. Heats up relatively quickly (about 5 minutes) and fries evenly. Check the fire code in your area before ordering because it is considered open flame and may need to be kept under a hooded area.

This is very easy to work with on the counter at home. We got it as a testing fryer at home when we don't want to load oil into our large commercial fryers. The temp range is accurate to our large fryers and gives us a chance to test new products in small quantity befor adding to our menu.

Love! Love! Love! This fryer. It is so easy to clean and heats up nice and even. Does take a bit of time to heat up for the first time each day, but once it gets to temperature it's amazing! The handle on the baskets do leave a lot to be desired. They just snap out of place causing the basket to topple the contents out haphazardly. Works ok as long as you are over the table or counter and not the floor.

I read a lot before I buy something that I want to last for a long time. Reviews are always hit and miss, but I like the ones that really tell what it is like using the product and that speak to some important attributes about the product. I bought this one over other options because of its "full coverage" heating element. Most have a small element on one side, but this one covers the bottom of the pan. I didn't see any complaints about this one not maintaining a temp, and this is why. Takes it a while to get hot, but they all take a while to get hot, but once there, I can fry basket after basket of stuff with no problems. I can fry an appetizer like fried mushrooms or cheese sticks, cook dinner as soon as I pull up the apps, like fish, fried chicken or pork chops, and I can fry taters right afterwards and nothing gets "grease soaked" from a temp too low. We have had this since September 13, 2016, so almost 4 years. It is still like new and we use it several times a week. It is easy to clean and break down, I have strained and reloaded the oil in it only about 5 times. When I do it, I save the good oil and just add to it when putting it back together. I dumped it for being too dark after the fourth cleaning. The oil pan is contained within a frame that gets warm, but will not melt an adjacent plastic bowl. The unit slides easily, as I move it out from under the cabinets when I am frying in it because it puts out a lot of steam. The lid is nice, too, my wife stacks bread up on it when it isn't in use. I really can't think of anything negative to say.

Stanley Fitzgerald from

I had high expectations for this fryer based on the recommendation someone gave me on a forum, especially since I had a "prosumer" one based on what the manufacturer said (ie: heating element in the oil). Wow, were they ever surpassed by this Avantco fryer. Oil capacity is great, the basket is sturdy, it heats and maintains temperature quite well and its capacity is great. The other nice thing about it is that the "grate" that protects the heating elements is removable so it makes cleaning easier. At that price, I don't think that there's anything close to it. FWIW, I use it at home, not in a restaurant setting

We do a good amount of off premise catering and this fryer offers us an inexpensive, portable way to fry foods to order. One of the challenges with this fryer for us has been the amount of power necessary to run both fryers. If you are using this fryer in-house, this will not be a problem since you will have control over this issue. But if you are relying on a power hook up at a residence, at a fair, etc, you may find yourself either not being able to turn on the unit or only being being able to use one of the two fryers at once. (you need 15 amps for each fryer)

We got this small fryer to use for all of our sushi frying so as to keep fish flavors in one fryer. The fryer is small countertop size, and the basket is about 10 inches by 8 inches. The depth of the oil when filled to the max line is about 6 inches deep. The unit comes apart easily for easy cleaning. So far, we've had it almost 2 years and it still works great. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the temperature dial isn't accurate, when you set it to the highest temp which is 375 it's actually only at about 325.

I have purchased a number of deep fryers over the years. This one is the best by far. It can fry 1.98 pounds of food at a time. It works extremely well. The only features that it does not have and I don't think either is necessary, is a timer and a drain spout for removing the oil.

The best part of this fryer is it is not expensive and is NSF approved. 120v and works great. Ideal for light to medium use although I have customers who use this every day without any issues. Easy to clean too. I've purchased both the single and double unit both work excellent.

Works very well. Heats up quickly, and easy to take apart to clean. Only con against it is that there could be a splash guard added to it to help with cleanliness. Oil will splash out everywhere leaving a little more mess to clean up each evening. Otherwise, great product for price.

Solid product for the price. Better than anything you can get at a big box store but don't expect the same recovery time and build quality of one that costs 5x as much. Cooks fries and appetizers fine but for fish it's better to get a better built fryer that can recover faster and hits a true 375 degrees.

This is a basic countertop electric fryer that uses a standard 120v outlet. Fit our needs perfectly for frying diced potatoes for breakfast bowls and burritos. While it seems to perform well for our needs, I can see how the size and recovery time could be inadequate for larger volume operations. One thing to note is that the protective plastic coating is difficult to remove, like seriously a pain.

Really like this unit. Heats up fast. Designed for easy cleaning. I don't get the chatter about the basket handle. Seems plenty solid to me. A very simple, nice fryer. One caveat, not a complaint. This is made for a small food service. I bought it for home use. It uses a lot of oil which makes it expensive to just fry up fries for two. None the less, it is great for parties. Everybody loves the appetizers. I've used it maybe a dozen times now. No problems. The hooks on the back of the basket are a nice feature for letting the basket contents drain a bit before emptying. Nice unit.

We bought our first fryer a little over 3 years ago. Since then, we purchased a second one earlier part of 2016. The first fryer was basically the same model, but they must had changed manufactures or something. The newest model baskets was not made as well and the heating elements were not interchangeable with the older model. We bought a second one because these do take some time to clean and we change oil and clean out weekly. Just worked better for us. The original fryer had either the power button or one of the lights go out on it, cant remember which, but I just bypassed to get it to continue to work. Last week it started to actually trip the reset breaker built under the control console. So I just placed an order for my 3rd one today. I could probably get it to work, but this thing is over 3 years old, I've made my money back no doubt. We turn our fryers on around 10:00 in the morning until 9p.m. 7 days a week. Cook chicken, fries, onion rings, corn dogs, mushrooms, fried pickles, tots all the good stuff there. The handles for the baskets do come out. You can try what ever you want to, it will come loose at some point, not too cool with hot grease! I installed two 2.5in metal joint plates with bolts and wing nuts for easy removal, one on the inside of handle and outside of basket. Don't have to worry about handles coming off anymore, unless you want them to. Recovery time does lag a little, but not that big of a deal, just have to keep eye on when cooking. Can kind of sucks if too busy, but we have managed. For the money, it does the job. I would like to upgrade, but as far as space and cost, mainly space...... I'm just not making the jump yet.

This little fryer is a BEAST!! We use it in our catering trailer, for frying breaded cheese and beef ravioli, fried mushrooms, and fried pickles. That’s a whole lot of fried items for a smaller electric fryer, but you can’t slow this thing down...the recovery time is very impressive. We’ve been using this electric fryer for a year, almost daily, powered mostly by generator, and it’s still pumping fried food out of our window. I even accidentally left the thing on, with no oil in the pot, for a fairly decent time...I just knew it ruined, but miraculously, it wasn’t. One thing I’d like to see for this fryer is the ability to use 1 or 2 baskets in the single pot! I would definitely recommend this fryer to anyone in a food truck, concession stand, or anything of that sort. Nice Product!!
