This is another pretty solid unit from Avantco. Performance on 240V is very solid with quick warmup (~15m) and temperatures that remain high after product is added. Unlike the smaller 120V fryers this could be used continually for a great deal of time. The downside is that given it's only a 15lb fryer you'll need to clean it a lot more frequently - there's a lot less space under the element for crumbs to collect.

This fryer is a little powerhouse. I’ve never had to deal with cold oil temps, even after frying frozen foods; it recovers super quickly. Cleaning it can be a bit of a pain. But I’d still buy it again.

This 208/240v electric fryer takes 14 minutes to heat up from cold oil to 350 degree oil. Not 8 minutes as other rating says. Perfect for frying snacks such as fries, egg rolls, tater tots, etc. The tank is a little small for me for two chicken orders frying together.

Serious power, 0 to 350 degrees in 8 minutes flat. Super fast recovery time. I thought being 220 volt for 2 gallons was overkill, but it is perfect. Front drain is awesome, after draining the oil just dump in some hot soapy water clean, drain, and dry!

Awesome dual fryer for the price! Glad I did research!!! It requires 2 separate 208/240 volt outlets,.and each temp gauge is within 10-12 degrees +/- after frying and recovering within 4-6 minutes. Thumbs up
