Make kielbasa, chorizo, bratwurst, and other mouthwatering meats with this Avantco SS-7V 7 lb. vertical manual sausage stuffer! This unit boasts a vertical design that delivers reliable performance while taking up minimal counter space. It includes 1/2", 3/4", 1 1/4", and 1 1/2" stainless steel funnels so you can make snack sticks, sausage, and luncheon meats without needing to buy any additional accessories. The four sizes of funnels allows you to use nearly infinite sizes of collagen, fibrous and natural casings to make your special dishes.
The stuffer has enclosed steel gears that turn with two speed options so you can easily attach the handle to a fast-or-slow-turning shaft, combining with a pressure relief valve to offer precise control over your product's consistency. The handle and gear design give you greater leverage and make turning and stuffing sausage easier than ever. The large all-metal drive gears and piston rod are made to deliver the pressure needed to stuff sausages big and small, with ultimate control and consistency thanks to the built-in pressure valve. The heavy-duty gasket completely seals the cylinder to prevent any meat or air leaks that would compromise the perfect sausage. Type 201 stainless steel sides and a removable type 304 stainless steel tilt out canister ensure long-lasting durability as well as quick and simple cleaning. This sausage stuffer features large rubber feet and a heavy base to help prevent rocking during use.
I'm in shock! I didn't expect that this device so easy to use! First of all, I was able to assemble it without reading instructions, actually it was preassembled; second of, all it was easy to use, even with my tender woman hands, third of all, easy to disassemble and clean without axillary tools! I've tried this device to stuff bologne, and it worked great.
This is a fantastic (!) sausage stuffer. I have used it to stuff salami, large summer sausage and smokies and all three. have been effortless. The gearing feels incredibly smooth and the entire device feels solid and well constructed. The high speed gear inserts and extracts the plunger in only a few turns. And the low speed provides plenty of force even with the smallest tube attached. What I didn't appreciate until I started using it was the spring-loaded air release valve. The valve effortlessly releases trapped air while lowering the plunger and then seals when the plunger contacts the meat. 10 lbs. of sausage/salami and I have had zero issues with trapped air in the casings. The sturdiness and weight made this super easy for me to use on my own with no help. No clamps are needed to hold it in place and the gearing makes it light work regardless of the casing size. Cleaning is easy - everything disassembles and there is easy access to all food facing parts. The silicone gasket takes a little wiggling with a wood tool to remove and clean underneath, but that also ensures that the gasket stays firmly in place when stuffing. The only complaint I read about was that the rubber feet don't stay in place. Which is correct - the stick to the surface and can come out. A few drops of glue and that issue is permanently resolved.
