To operate the toaster, twist the large, easy-to-use timer knobs after inserting the bread. For your convenience, crumbs are collected in the large, removable crumb tray to make clean-up a breeze. This commercial toaster requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.

This toaster is a bit slower for toasting had to buy another one as this was not able to keep up with the demand, it will still toast it just takes longer. It looks nice easy to clean and keep clean, but there is some better options although they cost more.
In my opinion this Avantco model THD1800 is the best value for the coolest toaster. This 120v model does not have the rocker switch to select bagel or toast. Per the instruction manual, the elements get hot on both sides of each slot but only glow orange on one side. I chose this toaster for my residential kitchen because I wanted a toaster that is more likely to be reliable/long lasting than other toasters. Things I really like sbout it: 1. the crumb tray empties from the front. 2. it has "typical toaster length" grounded 5-15P (normal 3 prong plug) power cord. 3. it does well with small bread; there are "baskets" in each slot that push the bread up nice and high. I hope my review is helpful to others. *side note: I have had a small Avantco refrigerator for approximately 2 yrs and it is doing very well. That gave me additional confidence in deciding to purchase this toaster.

Takes longer than a toaster at home... Customers had to toast their toast/bagels at least twice Definitely not a commercial grade toaster!!!
I'm a home user, at first thought this toaster might be little overkill, but after the first time we used it, two dozen bagels for our Sunday morning breakfast with the whole family, I realized it was a great purchase. Works great, consistent browning of the bagels and bread, and even though it's somewhat larger than a normal home toaster it does fit under our counter on the lower shelf when we are not using it.
